Help

  1. Open a model. Click Open (top right) or drop an STL anywhere on the window. A .brew file is a saved project with its supports. You can add several STLs to one plate.
  2. Check and repair. The Repair card checks the mesh as soon as it loads. If it finds holes or flipped faces, Fix mesh repairs them.
  3. Place and orient. The view turns with the middle mouse button (or the left one: see Controls). Move and turn the model with the arrows and rings, or press G / R like in Blender. Set the lift height in Transform; tilting a model often needs fewer supports.
  4. Add supports. On the Supports tab, Generate supports places them for you. Click the model to add your own, drag a tip or base to adjust, and click a shaft to brace one support on another. Red supports go into the model: drag them free.
  5. Brace and raft (optional). Recalculate bracing ties neighbouring pillars of the selected models together; a raft sits under the bases.
  6. Export. The Export tab saves one STL with the model, supports, bracing and raft, ready for your slicer. Save the project (Ctrl+S) to keep working on it later; with Pro, Ctrl+Alt+S saves it to the cloud.

Each card has a ? next to its title with a short explanation. Questions or ideas? Ask on our Discord.

Presupport 0.1.0

Resin presupport in your browser: orient, repair and support models, then export one STL.

Work in progress. Presupport is in beta: features are still being added and things may change or break. Save your projects as .brew files, and please report anything odd on our Discord. What is coming next: the roadmap; what changed: the patch notes.

Privacy

Presupport runs on your computer: models you open are processed in your browser and are not uploaded, and auto-save keeps your work in this browser's own storage. No tracking or analytics. Signing in is optional; with an account we store your email address, and with Pro your synced settings and the cloud projects you choose to save. Payments are handled by Stripe.
